It’s been an old dress etiquette cliche, "You should not wear white after Labor Day". But why did they (whoever they are), implement this dress code rule? Let’s learn history. As a child growing up, I remember the Labor Day dress code rule, and how we the people followed the dress code. In September the color white was banned. If someone was wearing white everyone was either staring at you or you were directly told, “ You shouldn’t be wearing white after Labor Day!” (With a commanding voice Geesh!) The Question In This Day and Age: Do you wear white after Labor Day? Either way- Yes or No just know you’re okay, if you do or don’t wear white after Labor Day. (Be your own Fashionista or Stylist)
