Thankful Thursdays in November!

As a Cycle Instructor, my Thursday class became Thankful Thursdays with a hint of Thursdays being Friday Eve, so let the spinning begin! As we celebrate Thanksgiving 2020, we have so much to be thankful for with a year filled with tragic events, Covid-19 Pandemic, and the political rat race to vote. One may ask, how do I think or be happy when everything is uncertain and everyone is feeling uptight?

The be all-cure for some people may be to find peace in their spiritual connection (God), to engage in therapy, find a fitness path, pursue a new career or journey into a new project. No matter where the peace is, the key is to be in the pursuit of HAPPINESS to find it. As we begin the count down to Thanksgiving, perhaps each Thursday should be our attitude to gratitude.

However, as we reflect over 2020, we should be thankful for life, health, shelter, family, jobs, food, and the list goes on and on. November has set the platform, Thursday sets the stage, and Thanksgiving Day is our starring role in showing our gratitude to our family, and a host of other things we are thankful for in our lives. You may ask what makes Thursdays so special? Well, every day we should be thankful, but the fourth Thursday in November puts our gratitude in perspective.

As a November mission, each Thursday can be gratitude for action whether it's an act of kindness, serving others, or journaling daily what we are thankful for in our lives.

My motto is: Make Each Day Count and be grateful for what you have.

Here's my grateful list:

  1. God/Jesus 5. food

  2. my family 6. my job

  3. health 7. friends

  4. shelter
