If you're still feeling shocked from the beginning of the year in January from the passing of Kobe Bryant, Covid-19 Pandemic, The Election, and the Social injustice events of Armuad Aubrey, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor, it's time to catch our breath! We can all say, "It's been one heck of a year, to say the least. Breathe!
Through all of the devasting 2020 events, Oh, how we love the month of December! The month where giving is shared with family and friends, decorative Christmas ornaments ignites happiness, and we anticipate the prosperity of the coming New Year!
As I reflect from January to December, I'm continuing the theme of November which is Gratitude. Specifically, my gratitude is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, my birthday, family, and friends. I encourage you to reflect on what is important to you in your life and be thankful just be thankful.
Out of all the months of the year, of course, for me, it's December because it ignites a warm feeling in me I just don't want the days to go away. However there is a time and a season for change, and as these 31 days keep us saying, "Where did this year go?" As for me, I'm going to make each day count in a meaningful way, and enjoy the gift of life. For me, making each day count is to find contentment in small things. For example water, food, shelter, etc...
